Barbara is a wildlife photographer who has supported big cat conservation in Africa and Asia with her work for almost 10 years. Based on similarities in view of problems like poaching, habitat loss and also diseases, Barbara is running a project to momitor British wildlife and in particular badgers in the wider Sherwood Forest area.
Barbara’s talk is based on trail camera footage from this survey project, recorded at or near badger setts over more than 3 years. It will provide an insight into badgers’ lives and behaviour, including cubs emerging from setts for the first time and some unexpected observations.
